The Tom Ford Black Lacquer Eau de Parfum 50ml balances presence with restraint from the first moment: an exercise in modern refinement. A glossy, seductive scent that shines with two exclusive innovations in modern perfumery: an incandescent black lacquer accord that captures a smoky, dimensional opulence, and a Makassar ebony wood note that evokes aspects of leather and birch. Beneath the glossy surface blooms the irrepressible mystery of a dark peony accord. The composition draws on black lacquer accord, ebony tree, incense and olibanum, and wears with an easy, self-assured balance. Tom Ford is an easy place to start if the house is new to you, and a familiar favourite if it is not. Elegant, uncomplicated, and made to become a habit. Wear the Tom Ford Black Lacquer Eau de Parfum 50ml as an everyday signature, or keep it for the occasions that deserve it.

Key features

An eau de parfum concentration, which carries a higher proportion of fragrance oil for a deeper, rounder character on the skin.
Built around notes of black lacquer accord, ebony tree, incense, olibanum, cedarwood (atlas) and ciste labdanum.
Sits in the woody family with a ambery (oriental) accent, so it feels familiar from the very first spray.
Expect roughly six to eight hours of wear, projecting confidently for the first hour before settling into a close, warm trail.
An ideal choice for evening wear and special occasions, and particularly at home in autumn and winter.

How to use

Spray onto clean, moisturised skin, as fragrance holds noticeably longer on hydrated skin.
Apply two or three sprays to the pulse points: the wrists, the base of the throat and behind the ears.
Let the opening settle on its own rather than rubbing your wrists together, which breaks up the top notes.
Refresh with a single spray later in the day, and keep the bottle away from direct sunlight and heat to protect the composition.
